How pricing works
There are three pricing models on Assessment Sync, one for each thing the platform does. Scoring runs on credits, where one credit equals one scored performance. Ticketing and donations run on a flat 3% platform fee plus standard payment processing from your Stripe account. There are no setup fees and no monthly subscriptions on any of the three.
You are only charged when scoring actually starts, a ticket actually sells, or a donation actually clears. Creating an event, adding performances, and releasing results are all free. Hosts are the merchant of record on every ticket and donation, so the funds settle directly to your own Stripe account.
New hosts receive 3 free credits on signup so you can run a small scored event before purchasing. Bundle pricing brings the per-credit rate down for circuits and multi-event seasons.

Fundraising: how the fees really work
Most "free" donation platforms aren't really free. They fund themselves by prompting your donors to tip on top of their gift, or by taking a cut of everything you raise. We charge a flat 3% you control, and we never ask your donors to tip us. Fee models as publicly described; verify current rates before deciding.

Why our fees are this low
We're not a tech giant. We're not PE-backed. We're parents, and one of us is a career educator. Our kids came up through arts and athletic programs, with booster meetings around kitchen tables, gas money out of pocket to get groups to competitions, and directors stretching budgets that weren't built to stretch. We come from modest means. We built Assessment Sync because we lived the problem.
Booster clubs raise money one car wash, one bake sale, one ticket at a time. Arts and youth athletic programs run on tight budgets that get tighter every year. We won't take a quarter of what your community raises for a high school band trip, a dance team's competition season, or a young athlete's tournament weekend.

What is a credit?
A credit is the unit of scoring on Assessment Sync. One credit equals one scored performance, including the live scoring sliders, judge audio commentary, audio storage, and video capture for that performance. Credits are not consumed when you create an event, add a performance, or release results. They are only consumed when scoring actually starts.
How much does one credit cost?
Volume-tier pricing: 1-9 credits $10 each, 10-24 credits $9 each, 25 or more credits $8 each, and 100+ credits $7 each. The tier applies to the WHOLE purchase, so a 25-credit pack is 25 × $8 = $200. Is video really included for free?
Yes. Video capture, synchronization with scores and audio, and storage are included at no extra cost with every scored performance. CompetitionSuite charges $7–$10 per performance depending on tier and only unlocks video on Gold and Platinum; their AI is a separate monthly subscription per user. We bundle the video, audio, score perception graph, and AI feedback — all synchronized — into the scoring credit. No add-ons.
How is AI priced?
Performance Summary and cross-judge Comparative Analysis are bundled into every scoring credit. The host clicks one button after evaluation and we generate the AI feedback at no additional charge — it's included in the credit you already spent. Event Analysis (cross-performance synthesis across the whole event) is a separate optional $50 one-time charge. No monthly subscription, no fractional credit math.
Why is AI a click-to-run button instead of automatic?
Two reasons. First, consent — some directors and judges are actively anti-AI and don't want their audio shipped to a third party without an explicit decision. The button is the consent gate. Second, cost discipline — plenty of hosts (especially fundraiser-only or small events) never click for AI feedback, and we don't burn variable cost generating something nobody will read. The credit you paid covers it either way; we just don't trigger it without your say-so.

Do unused credits expire?
Credits do not expire. Buy what you need for your event or season and roll any unused balance forward.
