Common questions

How do your fees compare to per-ticket ticketing apps?

Many school ticketing apps charge $1 to $2 per ticket, a flat surcharge on every ticket sold. We charge a flat 3% of face value plus standard payment processing. On a $10 ticket that is under $1 total in fees, and on a $5 ticket the gap is even bigger.

Does the booster club or the school get the money?

Whoever owns the Stripe account receives the payout. Most booster clubs run their own EIN and Stripe account. We never touch your money. Stripe pays you directly, so the booster's bank account is the destination.

Can we run scoring at our festival AND sell tickets on the same platform?

Yes. That is the whole point. Toggle scoring, ticketing, and donations per event. Organizers see a clean dashboard with only the features they are using.

What's the long-term contract?

None. Pay per performance (scoring) and per transaction (tickets and donations). Close your account anytime. Your Stripe data is yours.

Do we need to train our volunteers?

Not really. The scanner is a webpage that opens on any phone's camera. The check-in list is a searchable table for manual entry. Most booster parents figure it out in under 5 minutes.
