Common questions
Can I score sports that aren't marching band?
Yes. Assessment Sync was built configurable from the start. Cheer uses 1 to 10, gymnastics uses 10.0 deduction, pageants use 9.0 to 10.0 narrow bands. Our scoring scale engine supports all of them plus custom scales you define.
How does the score perception graph work?
Judges move sliders in real time as they watch. Every slider movement is captured with a timestamp. Combined with audio commentary and video, you can see exactly when perception shifted and why. It is patent pending. No competitor offers this.
How does the AI analysis work?
Performance Summary and cross-judge analysis are bundled into the scoring credit you already spent. The host clicks one button on the results dashboard and we generate the AI feedback at no additional charge. Nothing runs without a click (consent gate — no audio is sent to a third party until the host opts in). Event-level Analysis across an entire event is a separate optional $50 one-time charge. No monthly subscription, no fractional credit math.
Do judges need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in a web browser. Judges log in on their phone, tablet, or laptop and score on whatever device they have. Hosts don't buy hardware, and judges don't fight with app store downloads.
How does pricing compare to CompetitionSuite?
We use volume tier pricing: 1-9 credits $10 each, 10-24 $9, 25+ $8, 100+ $7. Each credit covers one scored performance AND includes video, audio commentary, score perception graph, AND AI feedback (Performance Summary + cross-judge analysis) — all synchronized. CompetitionSuite prices per performance across tiers ($2 / $4 / $7 / $10) and only unlocks video on Gold and Platinum, with nothing synchronized between the pieces. Their AI is a separate $5.99/month or $59.99/year subscription per user. We bundle everything and there's no monthly fee to forget to cancel.
Can I run multi-round events (prelims to finals)?
Multi-round support is on the roadmap for fall 2026. Until then, most circuits run their prelims and finals as separate events with the same participant list. That works today and keeps the math clean.
Do you support circuits and season standings?
Circuit management is a flagship feature on the roadmap. Credit pricing and event duplication already make seasonal operation straightforward. Cumulative standings and circuit-wide ticket passes ship later in 2026.
